Tips
- Navigating some of these content-heavy sites is tricky (there are ads and devices to drag you off to other places.) If you find a site you like, put it in your “Favorites” so you don’t have to constantly navigate unfamiliar pages.
- There are plenty of sites where you don’t have to “sign up” to access the goodies. If you do have to sign up, take the time to read any Terms of Service.
- Viewing videos is not always possible on older computers. Also be aware that if you use a dial-up service provider, you could probably drive to the theater faster than that movie trailer will download.
- Not all videos are “professionally” produced. Some sites allow users to upload home-made videos. Be prepared occasionally to wonder what the world’s coming to.
